Maya is one of six (yes! 6!!) extremely friendly and affectionate cats found dumped at a camp site off a remote hiking trail. We have no idea why anyone would abandon Maya or any of the other lovely cats, especially in such a callous location.
This affectionate and mellow young lady gets along well with other cats, dogs and children. Here's what her foster Mom has to say about her: "Everything is going well. She has a sweet disposition, very gentle. She is quiet and loves to sleep on the bed during the day. She sleeps with her sister Mia at night (shown in photo) and sometimes crawls under the bed covers. She's alert and always watching everything going on around her. This cat is a real cuddler and just loves attention from people. She enjoys being brushed. She has no issues with my cats or dog. Maya would make a wonderful addition to any home." Maya tested negative for feline leukemia, has been vaccinated, treated for parasites and spayed. Please consider adopting Maya!
We are a registered charity and ask a minimum donation of $100 toward each adoption. You receive a charitable tax receipt, your pet's veterinary records, and a loving, life-long companion.
